The Royal Civil Service Commission announces that the scheduled Briefing of the BCSE-B.Ed Graduates Examination and Distribution of Admission Cards on January 9 will be held as below:

Venue: Lecture Theatre (Nangka Campus), Paro College of Education, Paro.
As announced, all confirmed candidates are required to attend the briefing in person.

Civil Service Appointment-2012 - 05/01/2012
The Royal Civil Service Commission appointed and sworn in 221 BCSE (Bhutan Civil Service Examination) selected graduates at different Position Levels in the Professional and Management Position Category. Of the 221 appointees, 34 were PGDPA, 36 PGDFM, 14 PGDNL, 2 Dzongkha language and 135 technical graduates. Draft BCSR 2012 - 01/01/2012
The RCSC launched the draft Bhutan Civil Service Rules and Regulations 2012 on 1st January, 2012. The draft will remain online till 30th September 2012. The comments/feedback if any may be posted online or raise them during consultation meetings. The objective of posting draft BCSR 2012 online is to provide opportunity for adequate consultations before it comes into effect from 17th December, 2012.

The Royal Civil Service Commission has promoted 9 senior officers in the Executive Position Category with effect from January 1, 2012. Further, the Royal Civil Service Commission has promoted 202 civil servants with effect from January 1, 2012 based on the proposal received from the Ministries/Agencies. Civil Service Oath Taking Ceremony (BCSE 2011) - 29/12/2011
Royal Civil Service Commission would like to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, the Civil Service Oath Taking Ceremony which was initially scheduled at 10.00 am on January 04, 2012 has been re-scheduled at 2.00 pm on the same day. Therefore, Technical Category Graduates of Bhutan Civil Service Examination (BCSE) 2011 and trainees who have completed their postgraduate courses at Royal Institute of Management are requested to take note of this change and report for the same at 1.30 pm on January 04, 2012.

Phuntsho Wangdi, Director (EX3 A), Standard and Quality Control Authority, Ministry of Works and Human Settlement has been transferred to Bhutan Standards Bureau upon delinking of Standard and Quality Control Authority from Ministry of Works and Human Settlement as Bhutan Standards Bureau.
